Managed Services allow you to
take advantage of our highly skilled engineering
staff through either Managed Service contracts or
Managed Services on demand.
Managed Service contracts obligate ImagineNetworks.net
to perform managed services for the time periods
specified in each contract. Managed Service contract can
be purchased in a block of time or full 24/7 coverage.
Managed Services on demand is also available for
dedicated server clients who do not purchase a managed
service contract but need managed services right away.
Pricing depends on the day and time in which the managed
services on demand are performed.
Monday through Friday,
7:00 am to 09:00 pm
$125 per hour with a 30-minute minimum per incident.
All Other Hours
(Non-Business Hours)
$225 per hour with a 1 hour minimum per incident.
Scope of managed services:
Managed Services should be thought of as advanced
technical support. It is important to understand that
some requests cannot be honored under Managed Service
contracts as our knowledge and expertise are limited to
certain areas. Below are reasonable requests which would
fall under the scope of Managed Services:
Advising use of a type of webserver and helping with
installation (if needed).
Rotating tape backups on a periodic schedule.
Reinstalling, upgrading and/or downgrading software
(patches, Service Packs).
Software consulting, but not code troubleshooting or
debugging.
Performing a security audit on the server or configure
my firewall/router.
Below are some examples of unreasonable requests
which would not apply to managed services:
Please develop the Personal Control Panel for my
server. How
do I automatically add domains to all services on my
server? Can
you find out why my Perl script will not work? How
can I setup a billing solution for my server?
These examples are just a few of the many questions
that are beyond the scope of managed services.
