The Cisco Secure PIX Firewall is the dedicated firewall appliance in Cisco's firewall family. The Cisco Secure PIX Firewall delivers strong security without impacting network performance. The product line scales to meet a range of customer requirements. It provides full firewall protection that completely conceals the architecture of an internal network from the outside world. The Cisco Secure PIX Firewall enforces secure access between an internal network and an intranet, extranet links, and the Internet.


Virtual private network support:
Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections using the IPSec standards can be made with the Cisco Secure PIX Firewall. VPN allows organizations to create a private data network comprised of the public telecommunication infrastructure, maintaining privacy through the use of a tunneling protocol (typically PPTP) and security procedures available in the Cisco Secure PIX Firewall.

Security Audits

Security Audits are performed under Managed Services at the request of the client to prevent any possible security loopholes that we may find in your dedicated server or services running on the server. Requesting a security audit: To request a Security Audit, you must purchase a Managed Services contract or pay for Managed Services on demand. The cost will be significantly higher if you do not have a contract, so we encourage clients to purchase a Managed Services contract. Security Audit Procedure: Imagine Networks will perform an extensive security audit of your dedicated server, depending on the Operating System and services running. We will use several software applications to find any possible security holes in the dedicated server. We will then prepare a report for the client with our findings and recommendations. It is important to understand that while Imagine Networks will make every good faith effort to find any security issues with your dedicated server, there may be issues undiscovered. Imagine Networks cannot be held liable for any unidentified security holes after a Security Audit is performed.
